I love this bottle design, its strange to think that I like this simple design considering how much I also liked the over the top floris wit blanche label design. It looks simple, clean and neat. The bottle itself is squat green with two curves at the top.
The Beer itself is yellow with a very slight green tinge. Maybe its the light in my room but I can deffinatly see it like watered down lime.
The initall smelling is horrid, rotten something… its a harsh smell, mouldy wheat or something. Not good. Well I’ve paid for the beer so im sure as hell going to drink it!
Thankfuly the taste is better than the smell. Vedett has a long lasting flavour, and after taste is long lived too.
VEDETT Extra White
Lemon is deffinatly a dominant taste, lemon and wheat. The other flavors are a herb or hoppy flavor with a little bitter orange. Can you imagine Corrona and lime but with a big wit bear twist, lemons rounded off with smooth malt? Thats how i’m am going to describe this one.
In summary it smell God awefull but tastes refrshing and is a nice beer. Pinch your nose and you will enjoy this beatifully presented beer.
